Interview Information
100-year-old witnesses recount World War II. Over the past year, I had the great honor of interviewing more than twenty 100-year-old witnesses about their experiences during World War II as part of my peace project, “Wisdom from Centenarians.” Today, these twenty-plus 100-year-old witnesses share their stories in chronological order, describing how they experienced World War II and what we can do today to ensure that the history of World War II does not repeat itself. This witness document, created primarily to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, is the result of more than a year’s work. Within one year, I was privileged to interview over 20 centenarian witnesses to contribute my part toward peace.
