100-year-old Tank Driver Recounts World War II

Interview Information

100-year-old Tank Driver & Contemporary Witness Recounts World War II. As one of the last contemporary witnesses of World War II, this 100-year-old tank driver, born in 1925, stands as a memorial for peace. This 100-year-old contemporary witness reports the following to us today: – How he reached 100 years of age – How he had to experience World War II as a tank driver – How he was a prisoner of war in Russia for 3 years – What we can do to prevent the times of World War II from repeating – What is important in life. This 100-year-old serves as a cautionary example that war can never be a solution and peace is the only option. Therefore, it was a great honor for me to interview this 100-year-old contemporary witness & tank driver as part of my peace project “Wisdom of Life from 100-Year-Olds.”
