INTERVIEW WITH

100-year-old contemporary witness talks about World War II

Information about the interview

100-year-old contemporary witness talks about World War II. This 100-year-old contemporary witness was born in 1925. As one of the last contemporary witnesses from the time of World War II, the 100-year-old contemporary witness told me, as part of our peace project “Life Wisdom from 100-Year-Olds” – how she reached the age of 100 – how she experienced World War II as someone born in 1925 – how she met her husband – what is important in life – what she wishes for the future.

Disclaimer: This interview, conducted as part of our peace project, serves exclusively for historical documentation and for learning from history. The contents reflect personal memories and are placed in a contemporary historical context. I expressly distance myself from any form of glorification of National Socialist ideologies, from the relativisation or denial of the Holocaust, and from other extremist views.
